Terms of Service

Last updated: June 15, 2026

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Omna Labs, Inc. (“Omna,” “we,” “us”). They govern your access to and use of the Omna Python library, Mac app, Chrome extension, websites, and any paid plans (together, the “Service”). By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

The Service

Omna detects and masks personally identifiable information (PII) and slices large files into relevant context before that content is sent to third-party AI services. PII detection and masking run locally on your device. The open-source Python library is provided separately under the MIT license; where these Terms conflict with the MIT license for that library, the MIT license governs the library.

Accounts

Some features — including Pro, Team, and Enterprise plans — require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@omna.dev of any unauthorized use.

Plans, billing, and payment

  • Free — $0. The Python library, Mac app, Chrome extension, basic masking, and local semantic search.
  • Pro · Team — $20 per user, per month, billed in advance. Adds advanced masking, audit exports, team sharing, analytics, and priority support.
  • Enterprise — custom pricing under a separate order form or agreement, which controls if it conflicts with these Terms.

Paid plans renew automatically for the same term unless cancelled before the renewal date. Fees are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices on renewal with reasonable notice.

Early access

During early access, Omna is offered free of charge and is provided “as is.” Features, limits, and pricing may change as the Service matures. Eligible early-access users may retain free access as described on our pricing page, at our discretion.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others.
  • Reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the paid Service except as permitted by the MIT license for the open-source library.
  • Interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.

Your data and content

You retain all rights to the files, prompts, and content you process with Omna. We do not claim ownership of it. Our handling of the limited data we do receive — anonymous usage telemetry and any account or billing details — is described in our Privacy Policy. PII detection and masking run locally; we do not receive your file contents or prompts.

Third-party AI services

Omna sends masked, sliced content to the third-party AI service you choose (such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or DeepSeek). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services and do not control how they process the content you send them.

Intellectual property

Except for the open-source library and your own content, the Service and all related software, branding, and materials are owned by Omna and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your plan.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Omna helps reduce the risk of sending sensitive data to AI services but does not guarantee that all PII is detected or masked in every case. You remain responsible for reviewing what you send to third-party services.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Omna will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel paid plans at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located there.
